Late last year discussions were opened with Blackmoor Golf Club with a view to taking a coaching residency at their club. After much positive dialog, an agreement was made to collaborate Adam Harnett Golf and Blackmoor Golf Club. This means that from 1st March 2025 I will be moving my business and solely coaching from Blackmoor.

I'm really excited by this move and if you're a student of mine then you should be too.  Blackmoor is just 10 minutes from Blacknest, in Bordon, so it will be a simple transition to a new venue. The course is a Harry Colt design and has a rich history of prestigious golf events. 

The club are embarking on an initiative to improve the coaching offerings and facilities at the club in conjunction with my new role.  A bespoke teaching facility will be built to ensure coaching can continue all year round and the grass practice area will give students the ability to practice from a surface that better represents the golf course - a rarity and a real luxury I think you'll agree!  There are also plans to create a top class short game area too.

I have been at Blacknest for 10 years and it has been a great period in my life helping to accelerate my coaching career to the point it is at now.  I would like to thank the previous owners, in particular Rachael Russell, for their support over the years. However, I feel that now is the perfect time to move on.

This move also allows me to expand.  My vision is to create an academy with multiple coaches delivering coaching for all ages and abilities and providing golfers with the best coaching services posible. 

I will follow up with further details in the coming weeks but in the meantime and until March 2025 it's business as usual at Blacknest.
